Once you and your partner have made the amazing decision to commit to one another or if you are already married and want to have a special vow renewal ceremony, this is the time you would be looking for someone to take all of your ideas and dreams and make them a reality!
This is where I come in!
Firstly contact me on any of the links on my page or head over to Facebook or Instagram to get an idea of who I am and what I can offer and then we can meet for a free, no obligation consultation to get to know each other. This can be an informal chat in a location of your choice, or if you'd prefer, we could meet over zoom. This is the first, important step to see if you are happy with the services I offer and to see if you feel that I would be the right fit for your ceremony.
If after that initial meeting you are happy with what I have to offer and want to go ahead and book Sophella Ceremonies, this is when the booking form and deposit would be required to secure your date. I will hold your date for 7 days after you have made your decision and once the deposit is paid, that date is yours!
I will never book two ceremonies on the same date so that whole day is dedicated to you and if there are any interruptions or delay's to timings, I will still be able to be flexible and be there to assist you on the day.
Now the fun part!
We will then set up a meeting, this can be at the location of your wedding, if you have one in mind, or it can be at your home if you prefer. We can then go through every detail of your ceremony, what you want, what you hope for and what things you want to include in the ceremony. As I've said previously, not much is off limits and this is where you can really get as creative as you wish! We can discuss readings, poems, songs and rituals you may want to include. Your ceremony is bespoke to you, so if you wanted a family member or friend to be involved, or if you wanted a special song or to come in dancing down the aisle then this is all a possibility. I can also assist you with your vows or promises and I can give you poem or reading ideas. This is what I'm here for!
Once we have had our initial meeting, if you wish, we can set up a what's app group so you can send over ideas and updates or I'm more than happy to do this over email, whatever is easiest for you. We can also meet up again, if you wish, or discuss things over the phone. I want you to be completely in control of the ceremony so if you need extra meetings or discussions, this is not a problem at all!
4 - 6 weeks before the ceremony, the final balance will need to be settled and then I will send you over the draft script. This will be for you to see exactly what the ceremony will look like, sound like and will include all the movements and readings/music you have chosen. This will be your opportunity to amend anything, again, you are in control and want this ceremony to be exactly as you want it. When you are truly happy with the script and it has been finalised, we can then run through a rehearsal at the venue. Please be aware that there is an additional charge for this (see fee's section)
On the big day!
I will arrive about an hour and a half before the ceremony to check in with you and anyone that you have involved in the ceremony and make sure the ceremony space is ready and to set up any rituals that you have requested. I will also liaise with the event/wedding coordinator and the manager of the venue to make sure everyone knows where they need to be and to confirm timings. I will be your support during the ceremony and don't worry, I will have copies of your vows or readings in case, in the chaos, you forget them and I will make sure to prompt you or guide you during the ceremony.
Once the ceremony is over and you are swept up in a whirlwind of excitement and party vibes, I will make sure your souvenir script and anything you have requested to keep from your ceremony is safely handed to the event or venue manager so you don't have to think about anything other than celebrating your special day!
